· This is the first major update of the free version of QCAD since version 2.
· QCAD 3.1 features a very powerful and complete ECMAScript (JavaScript) interface, support for texts in TrueType fonts, a completely-redesigned property editor, a new part library browser with search functionality, an option for an isometric grid, and many other new features and tools.
· The user interface has been modernized and polished, and the CAD engine underneath is now equipped with a spatial index for increased performance.
