AnimGifViewer is a software developed by De Luminae to enable users to play animated gif files and also to explore them step-by-step, in particular images created by RadSunpath. We could not find an easy to use and understandable animated images gif viewers on Internet, which can explore images embedded in animation one by one, and decided to create one.
Interface enables easy and undrestandable animated gif images opening and also simple opening with images Drag'n'Drop. Files can be "played" as an animation, or explored as step by step images with simple buttons or mouse wheel.
Option "Save frame as" enables saving of current image frame in various image formats (GIF,BMP,JPG and PNG).
To make AnimGifViewer accessible to greater number of potential users program is developed for Windows and Linux based platforms.
AnimGifViewer under GPL license so that anyone can freely use, distribute, and modify it.
So feel free to use, correct and improve it!
Installation and Usage:
- Open archive animgifviewer-1.0.tar.gz
tar xvzf animgifviewer-1.0.tar.gz
- In directory animgifviewer-1.0, log as a root user and execute command
python setup.py install
- Program will be installed in site-packages subdirectory in Python directory and it is available to all users with command animgifviewer
- To uninstall the program you can use script uninstall-animgifviewer as root user.
