amarok Livestream with Icecast2 will relay all audio data played through your soundcard (or at least the channels you selected for capture) to a icecast2 server.
Metadata is transmitted too. Don't forget to turn the script off again!
Configuration should be obvious. Start the script and click onto configure. An instance of KWrite will pop up with the config file in it. Change the values and hit save. Restart the script after that.
It will spawn a ices2 instance in the background and transmit Amarok's metadata to it. If you stop the script ices2 is killed.
Requirements:
· Amarok
· Bash
· CoreUtils
· Ices2 and icecast2 server
What's New in This Release:
· Create the datadir if it doesn't exist, so the script would run without problems.
