    KarperScore description

KarperScore project is a score-generating script.

KarperScore project is a score-generating script. It is my opinion that in a perfect world, the score is the computer's best guess of how much you like a song. That means, it should eventually tend towards your rating, should you provide one.

If you don't rate the song, the score should solely depend on how many times you play the song (if you hate it, you'll rate it low, or delete it from your library).

So, this script will make the score always tend to your rating. If you don't rate the song, it will tend towards 100.

    Requirements:

    · Amarok 1.4
    · Ruby 1.8

    Usage:

Run the script. It will calculate the scores for the songs as you play them.

    What's New in This Release:

    · Score now factors in rating, playcount and percentage at user-set levels of importance.
