    BurnPlaylist description

    Burn Amarok's playlist with K3b

BurnPlaylist is an Amarok 2.X script that burns the currently loaded playlist to a data disc using K3b.

The resulting data disc will retain the current playlist's track queue position.

This is accomplished by automatically prefixing a zero padded playlist queue position number to each file added to the data disc. To ensure that files associated with the Amarok collection are not modified, each file in the current playlist is copied to a temporary directory in the users $HOME directory. This temporary location is where the queue position is prefixed to each filename. These files are then used for the K3b burn operation.

This was originally written to only fill the need of retaining playlist positions on data (mp3) discs but I plan to expand upon it in future releases. The next obvious feature to include is burning to a standard CD audio disc, which should release shortly.
