The SopCast Player application is designed to be an easy to use Linux GUI front-end for the P2P streaming technology developed by SopCast.
SopCast Player features an integrated video player, a channel guide, and bookmarks. Once SopCast Player is installed it simply "just works" with no required configuration.
If you would like to help SopCast Player and you are bi-lingual, why not make a translation in your native tongue. Please go to https://translations.launchpad.net/sopcast-player to begin translating today. No programs to install or geeky syntax to haggle with, just use their web-based translation system which is a snap to use. Not only will you feel a sense of inner-peace, but I will also credit you in the about section of SopCast Player for the world to see.
Note: Again, I would like to thank all the translators that have worked on the SopCast Player project. With all of your help SopCast Player is available in 32 languages spanning the globe. I am always happy to add more languages if someone is gracious enough to take the time to translate. Please go to https://translations.launchpad.net/sopcast-player to contribute.
