Scalculator is a musical scale, arpeggio and mode calculator.

Developer comments

I first wrote the Scalculator as a perl program and it is still up on the web (http://www.ushimitsudoki.com/scalculator/scalculator.html). I am new to Ubuntu and open-source development and want to re-write the Scalculator as an open-source application.

I don't know anything about developing open-source applications, or developing for GNOME or Linux or Ubuntu or anything like that, and I chose Python as the language, because I thought I might as well learn a new language while I was at it! So, any help is welcome.
