Midi2ogg is a shell-based frontend to TiMidity++ and Oggenc that allows the user to convert midi/mod files to Ogg Vorbis for uniform sound on all computers, playing on a Vorbis-compatible portable player or burning on audio CD's or Vorbis CD's. It is designed to run under any Unix shell and has been tested under BASH, TCSH, PDKSH and ZSH.
The Midi2ogg command syntax looks like:
where is a midi or mod file that is playable by TiMidity++, is the Ogg Vorbis audio file to be created and is the Vorbis quality which is passed directly to Oggenc.
