ImpAmp 1.3

A software written within a web page to aid improvised sound effects for The Improverts.
ImpAmp is a software written within a web page to aid improvised sound effects for The Improverts. The idea is that you can assign an mp3 file to a letter on the keyboard so pressing that letter instantly starts that track.

Support for pages has been added so you can have games themes in one page, sound effects in another, atmospheric background on a third page etc. The program has been written within a web page to make it very portable and easy to use on different computers/systems. All you need is Firefox and flash installed with javascript enabled.

I recommend using Firefox rather than any other browser because that is the one I have developed and tested it fully on.

Main features:

  • Basic functionality - Pressing a letter or clicking will start or stop/reset it
  • StopAll - A 'Stop All' function has been added with the space bar
  • Track title has been added to buttons Via ID3v1 tags
  • Pages - Support for 10 separate pages
  • Pausing - Ability to toggle pause/play insted of restart
  • Emergency - Play a random pre-cued emergency track
  • Styles - You can select multiple styles to sute your screen
