GeeXboX is an open source and fully features Linux operating system, a minimalistic Live CD that can run on any machine and it is based on the excellent XBMC media center software.

With a little bit of magic and the power of the Linux kernel, GeeXboX can transform your personal computer into a HTPC (Home theater PC) in a few seconds.

GeeXboX is distributed as Live CD ISO images, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. It is specially designed to load into RAM and run from there, removing the Live media.
