Shiba Inu Mate For Linux

Shiba Inu Mate is an open-source Linux kernel-based operating system derived from the minimal Puppy Linux distribution and built around the lightweight MATE graphical desktop environment.

Shiba Inu Mate is available for download as an ISO image of approximately 300MB in size, designed as a dual-arch Live CD that supports both 32-bit (i386) and 64-bit (x86_64) hardware platforms.

The ISO image has been designed in such a way that it will automatically start the live environment in five seconds from the moment the user boots the Live CD from the BIOS of a computer.

Users will encounter a minimal boot prompt in the style of the Puppy Linux operating system, which allows them to press Enter to start the live system or press the F2 or F3 for basic and advanced help menus.

The MATE graphical desktop environment features an old-school layout, comprised of two panels, one located on the bottom edge of the screen and the other one on the upper side of the screen.

A “Quick Setup” dialog will encounter users from the get-go, allowing them to configure their graphics cards, choose a keyboard layout, timezone, location and hostname.

Despite the fact that it is a lightweight distribution of Linux suitable for low-end machines or computers with old and semi-old hardware components, Shiba Inu Mate includes top-notch applications.
