KSuse KDE For Linux

KSuse KDE is an open source, free and easy-to-use GNU/Linux operating system based on the famous openSUSE Linux distribution and tailored for the Korean Linux community. This edition is built around the KDE Plasma desktop environment and designed with the SUSE Studio tool.

The OS is distributed as a Live DVD ISO image, which contains software packages optimized for both 32-bit and 64-bit instruction set architectures. It can be used directly from a DVD/USB media or installed on a local disk drive.

The Live DVD boot menu is similar to the one of the openSUSE Linux operating system. After a brief welcome screen, it offers various useful boot options that allow you to start the live system with normal configuration or in failsafe mode, and boot an existing OS from the local drive.

Users can run a memory test, change the language, switch to a different video mode, add extra options to the predefined boot entries, as well as to add extra parameters to the kernel.

As mentioned, this is the KDE edition of KSuse Linux, which means that it uses the beautiful and modern KDE Plasma desktop environment, offering a traditional layout comprised of taskbar located on the bottom edge of the screen and a desktop folder widget.

Among the pre-installed applications, we can mention the Chromium web browser, KDevelop IDE (Integrated Development Environment), KDESvn SVN client, FileZilla file transfer client, KMail e-mail client, Noatun media player, KPDF PDF viewer, and Okular document viewer.

The KGhostView PostScript and PDF document viewer, the entire LibreOffice office suite, as well as the Wine application for those of you who want to install apps and games designed for the Microsoft Windows operating system.
