With the tasks and mails add-on for Thunderbird, tasks are stored in e-mails folder and it's possible to link an email to a task.

For the moment, link tasks to email and manage it. Tasks have a state ('to do', 'done', 'to follow') ; see all the tasks of a folder and its sub folders.

How to Install in Thunderbird:

1. Right-click the link below and choose "Save Link As..." to download and save the file to your hard disk.
2. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open Add-ons from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Install button, and locate/select the file you downloaded and click "OK".
