Unity Launcher Integration is a Thunderbird extension that allows it to leverage the new Ubuntu Unity Launcher. Right-clicking the Thunderbird icon in the launcher allows users to quickly compose new messages or access their address book, and a count of new, unread messages is displayed over the launcher icon.
NOTE: The context-menu items will only appear after logging out and logging back in to your account.
This extension requires the Ubuntu Unity shell to be enabled.
How to Install in Thunderbird:
1. Right-click the link below and choose "Save Link As..." to download and save the file to your hard disk.
2. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open Add-ons from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Install button, and locate/select the file you downloaded and click "OK".
