Restartless Restart is a very tiny Thunderbird, Firefox and SeaMonkey extension that will add a "Restart" menu item to the "File" menu, and a CTRL+ALT+R hotkey, which will restart the application.
Restartless Restart is an open source add-on designed to work with Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 4 or later, Firefox Mobile 4.0 Beta 4 or later, SeaMonkey 2.1 Alpha 3 or later and Mozilla Thunderbird 3.3 Alpha 1 or later.
This add-on doesn't require you to restart the web browser.
How to Install in Thunderbird:
1. Right-click the link below and choose "Save Link As..." to download and save the file to your hard disk.
2. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open Add-ons from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Install button, and locate/select the file you downloaded and click "OK".
