Mathematical formulas have miscellaneous notations that require specific fonts to be rendered correctly. MathML-fonts is a Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey extension that contains WOFF versions of the free mathematical fonts recommended by the Mozilla MathML Project (namely STIX, Asana Math and MathJax fonts). It attaches the appropriate CSS rules in order to make them usable in the pages visited.
For users that do not already have the required fonts installed on their systems, this add-on will provide a better rendering of mathematical text, including more pleasant style and support for more Unicode symbols. It may also improve stretching of mathematical operators, although for the moment WOFF fonts are not fully supported by the Mozilla's MathML rendering engine.
Compatibility: Mozilla 7.0 or greater.
Licenses: The add-on code is licensed under MPL 1.1. The STIX and Asana Math fonts are licensed under SIL Open Font 1.1. The MathJax fonts are licensed under the Apache License 2.0.

How to Install in Thunderbird:
1. Right-click the link below and choose "Save Link As..." to download and save the file to your hard disk.
2. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open Add-ons from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Install button, and locate/select the file you downloaded and click "OK".
