External Email Alert is a Thunderbird extension that alerts user to confirm that it is ok to send an external email.
Have you ever accidentally sent an external email because Thunderbird's auto-complete used a different address than you were expecting? Worry no more. External Email Alert will give you a popup when you click "Send" if your are sending an email to an email address that doesn't match the domain on your email account.
How to Install in Thunderbird;
1. Right-click the link below and choose "Save Link As..." to download and save the file to your hard disk.
2. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open Add-ons from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Install button, and locate/select the file you downloaded and click "OK".
