Extension Developer is a suite of tools for extension developers. It included an interactive JavaScript shell, HTML and XUL editors with live preview, regular expression and XPath testers, and a tool for packaging extensions.
How to Install in Thunderbird:
1. Right-click the link below and choose "Save Link As..." to download and save the file to your hard disk.
2. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open Add-ons from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Install button, and locate/select the file you downloaded and click "OK".

· Fixed bug in extension builder file (thanks grbradt, rottenrice); however, the extension builder feature has apparently been broken for some time, so the fix is unlikely to get it working again completely
