Custom Buttons 2 is a Thunderbird extension offers a set of buttons that can be written to do various tasks that the user may require. The buttons are coded in JavaScript. Many bookmarklets can easily be converted to buttons.
Extension developers will find this extension quite useful in the development cycle. JavaScript code can be prototyped in a custom button, avoiding the reload chrome step until the code is proven. Then the code can be moved to the extension.
How to Install in Thunderbird:
1. Right-click the link below and choose "Save Link As..." to download and save the file to your hard disk.
2. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open Add-ons from the Tools menu.
3. Click the Install button, and locate/select the file you downloaded and click "OK".
