Podalyzer scans one or more Web server log files, extracts entries that result from downloads of media files.
Podalyzer scans one or more Web server log files, extracts entries that result from downloads of media files like podcasts, and generates a report based on those entries.

In addition to reporting the number and size of downloaded files, it generates a number of graphs showing downloads over time, downloads per 'show' and (if the Geo::IP module is installed) a breakdown by country.

Requirements:

Podalyzer needs a recent version of Perl (5.8.3 or better). In addition you must
have a web server that produces log files in Common Log File or Extended Common Log File formats
have access to those log files
to run Podalyzer have the following Perl modules installed:
HTML::Entities
GD::Graph
to have stats analysed by country have the following Perl modules installed:
Geo::IP
to run Podfeeder have the following Perl modules installed:
XML::Parser
LWP::UserAgent

What's New in This Release:

The download counting heuristic has a better idea of what constitutes a complete download.
Data has been added about hits not considered downloads.
There are various cosmetic enhancements to generated HTML.
A --csv option has been added to produce a CSV extract of logs.
