Java syslogd is a simple Java syslog daemon with multiple filters and screens. It can be used to monitor router application and any
application or device that support the syslog protocol.

I use this simple utility to monitor my device with the RFC 3164 protocol better know as syslog protocol. Up to 9 different session can be monitored with different filter based on messages priorities and/or ip address.
