read4me is a Python feed-reading web service.
read4me is a Python feed-reading web service. It reads RSS or atom feeds and, using bayesian statistics, reports how much you will like the articles. This project includes a server and a Firefox extension client.

Requirements:

Python 2.3 or higher
libxml
libxslt
Reverend
FeedParser
CherryPy 2.1.0 or higher

Installation:

- Download and extract the source code.
- Enter the read4me/server directory and execute:

$ python setup.py install --prefix=$HOME

- This will install:

- The read4me package in the appropriate python directory
- An executable in your $HOME/bin directory
- A $HOME/.read4me directory for configuration, data files, etc

What's New in This Release:

This release uses CherryPy, updates the Firefox extension for Firefox 1.5, improves the AI, and adds a new installation script.
