WebTTY project allows any Linux terminal processes to be controlled via a text area HTML element on a Web page.
Keypresses in the textarea are collected on the client side and sent to the server process. WebTTY uses AJAX/DHTML patterns to achieve in-page updates without refreshing the entire page.
What's New in This Release:
· Terminal emulation has been improved.
· For example, the Delete key has been implemented, and the Tab, Up, and Down keys have been fixed for FireFox.
· The administration widget will open a slave window for every new process in order to display realtime activity and to hold the log.
· The windows will accumulate but can be manually closed by the administrator.
