Treebeard is an open source collection of CGI scripts designed to create a topical forest. The archive includes the treebeard, treeadmin, treeimage and treedonly CGI scripts.
To install Treebeard on your website, put the extracted files in the /cgi-bin directory. Keep in mind that it must be executable by the web server. Having an empty file called /cgi-bin/.local will allow Treebeard to operate normally on the localhost.
