Swiftdove is a 100% FREE version of the Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client. Swiftdove is a optimized build of the Mozilla Thunderbird code for Linux. It is built for different microprocessor architectures and incorporates additional instruction sets. The code and graphics are free and available
There was no 2007 release of Thunderbird. So I am using the version number to release a Swiftdove version. There have been lots of improvements and an addition.
This is the source package for the 2.0.0.7 release. The mozilla source and change log is in the form of a patch that describes the exact changes to the code.
This is ok according to the MPL 1.1 section 1.11 "Covered Code" "or source code differential comparisons against either the Original Code or another well known, available Covered Code of the Contributor's choice. The other well known code is 2.0.0.8pre release available from Mozilla cvs.
