This project provides an Open Source Usenet newsreader for Linux, Windows and Mac
Pan is an open source and cross-platform graphical application designed to act as a Usenet newsreader that supports both binaries and text. It is the only UNIX app that gets the perfect score on the Good Net-Keeping Seal of Approval evaluations.

Pan features offline reading, NZB support, yEnc support, binary uploading, killfiles and scoring, PGP handling, secure connections, as well as multiserver support.

Pan is a platform-independent application that runs well on and has been successfully tested with UNIX and UNIX-like operating systems, such as Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows.
