PHP StatIt 4 060626

PHP StatIt keeps track of visitor counts and other visitor information such as system, browser, referral domains, screen resolution, color, etc.

PHP StatIt script features a Web-based statistics page and statistics available in three languages. Installation and configuration are simple.

Requirements:

· PHP 4
· MySQL

Installation:

1. just unzip and upload to server.
File- and directory structure must be keep safe.
1a. for update you can overwrite the old files (database will automatic updated).
1b. on update DO NOT overwrite the mysql_inc.php in /tmp directory!!

2. Run the StatIt directory in your browser, e.g.
http://yourdomain/statit4
and login

3. Create a statistic!
You have to create a statistic before you can do anything else!

4. Insert the php code OR JavaScript code into the pages you want to count.
The include with php is to prefer the include with JavaScript!

Attention:

- You need a MySQL database, the script doesn't create one!
- The script will try to write the mysql_inc.php in /tmp directory,
if the script fails YOU have to edit the file AFTER the installation and fill
in your mysql data.
- visible counter with visible_count_inc.php (parameter calls in file)

What's New in This Release:

· This release includes a security fix (V4 060504) and adds Spanish language support.
· Some charts were added to the statistics.
