Mizio 0.3.1

Mizio is a proxy hunter scanner tool for Linux with GUI that checks the anonimity and speed.
Mizio is a proxy hunter scanner tool for Linux with GUI that checks the anonimity and speed. It uses QT and KDE libraries. Mizio also retrieves geographical locations of the proxies server. Future versions will include connect and socks support.

A proxy is a software installed on a computer who, caching the most visited web pages, speeds up the Internet surfing. If a proxy is configured not to send the IP address of the computer who uses it, the proxy can also be used to surf the Internet anonimously. Mizio looks for such proxies by querying Google and then opening a local port to allow receiving proxy HTTP headers to test anonymity. Once Mizio ends its job you set your browser to navigate through that proxy et voilą! You are surfing the Internet quite anonimously.

What's New in This Release:

· Mizio now ends the checking process, closes the port used to accept connections, removes the not working proxies and displays on the status bar the number of anonimous proxies.
