LimeSurvey (formerly PHPSurveyor) is an open source set of PHP scripts that interact with MySQL or MS-SQL databases to develop surveys, publish surveys, and collect responses to surveys.

The LimeSurvey project includes the capacity to generate individualized "tokens," so that invitations can be issued to participants. It also features support for an unlimited number of surveys at the same time, creation of a printable survey version, unlimited number of question groups in a survey, and unlimited numbers of questions in a group or survey.

The application also provides re-usable editable answer sets, ready-made importable questions, assessment surveys, unlimited number of participants to a survey, open or anonymous surveys, as well as closed surveys.

LimeSurvey is translated in numerous languages and features a detailed manual included in the archive, which can also be access online from the project's website.
