Jinja2 Markdown 0.1

Jinja2 Markdown provides Jinja2 extensions and filters for parse markdown text markup.

Need Markdown to be installed http://pypi.python.org/pypi/Markdown/

If you need only markdown filter in Django? just use:

INSTALLED_APPS = (
 ...,
 'django.contrib.markup',
 ...,
)

in settings.py (i use coffin to integrate jinja2 in django) and:

< p >{{ text|markdown }}< /p >

in your template.
