Eatmonkey For Linux

Eatmonkey is an open source and freely distributed graphical software project implemented in Ruby/GTK+ as a smart download manager utility for the Xfce desktop environment. It’s designed as a GUI front-end for the Aria2 command-line download manager tool and supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, Metalink, as well as BitTorrent files.

Key features include an advanced settings dialog for the manager, prompts an options dialog when adding new downloads, implements a notification icon for the manager, as well as separate floating icon application.

The application comes with a command-line tool that replaces the curl and wget commands, and built-in UPnP support for automatic NAT (Network Address Translation) redirection. At the moment, it supports download, remove and pause functionality for files.
