World Wide Guestbook is a Google Chrome extension that allows you to open a side-panel when surfing with your web browser.
Ever came across a website where you wanted to leave a comment on the nice documentation, image gallery etc. but could not find a guestbook on that website? With the world wide guestbook it is possible to comment on every website, even those that do not provide a guestbook themselves! Just install this extension and whenever you feel like commenting on a website (or to see what other people's comments are) just click the WWGuestbook icon and a guestbook for this website appears!
Note: to read the comments one should have installed this extension as well - this also goes for the owner of the website you're commenting on! This extension is not related to those other websites, thus these are not notified when a comment is placed.
Important note: The extension alters the content on the web page you are viewing. Though we do our very best to protect the guestbook from malicious code, it is still highly recommended to turn the guestbook off when visiting e.g. the secured website of your bank / shopping website etc. --> Because of this reason, some pages are by default protected to this kind of extending. This includes unfortunately also the google-chrome extensions page...
