Local Read Later extension provide the same service as Read It Later, but it save the data in your machine (so you don't need any account) .

The pages will be saved as bookmarks.

When you come across a webpage you want to read, instead of interrupting the flow of your work, hit Ctrl+Alt+R and you will see that the counter increment by one.

Also you can set your own shortcut.
