When viewing a book on Amazon, Amazon Library Search Tool will show you whether it is available from the library of your choosing.
When viewing a list of search results on Amazon, this extension will highlight books available from your library in green, and it will highlight books which are not available in red.
It should work with almost any library which has an online catalog which can be searched by ISBN.
I created it because the GreaseMonkey script which does this for Firefox won't work under Chrome. Because it lets you enter ANY URL for your library, it has to be granted permission to access ANY URL, so you'll see a message to that effect when you install it.
I still buy books from Amazon. With this extension, I can focus my limited dollars on books which I can't get from the library.
It is a little geeky, because you have to be able to provide the search URL and the 'matcher' strings for your library. If there is sufficient interest, I may try to automate this in future versions.
