secureFox is a Firefox extension that will display a password prompt when exiting Firefox. This add-on is meant to be used with my other add-on, Refresh2Page along with the Full Fullscreen and keyconfig add-ons to create a Secure Firefox Kiosk Station. As such, there are a few things you should be aware of in terms of security. Your password has the potential of being found or changed through the about:config URL.
It also has the potential to simply be changed from the secureFox options. This is because I do not know how to properly store an encrypted password in Firefox, sorry. But, if you follow the configuration I explain in my other add-on's description page, then you should have no worries as it will be impossible to navigate to about:config (as there will be no address bar), and also will be no way to get the options to change the password, (even if you did manage too, you have to have the original password to to exit so the changes take effect). The default password is "exit". Nice and simple.

· The password is now stored as an md5 hash so it is more "secure". Also, the password itself is protected along with a confirm new password textbox.
· *If you change the password, the change for the browser exit is not immediate. However, it is immediate for the preferences. So use your old password when restarting the browser and your new one when navigating to the preferences before you restart the browser.
