popIn 1.3.1

popIn is a Firefox extension that lets you find what you need instantly without navigating away from the webpage. popIn has two main functions:

1)Highlight-and-click popIn

With "Highlight-and-click" popIn you can find the information you want just by using your mouse. There are just two steps:

1. With the mouse, highlight the text you want to look up.
2. Click the button for the kind of information you want to know about the text you highlighted in step 1. (Google search, map search, translation, etc.)

In this way, highlight-and-click popIn, lets you search with just two steps, and complete your browsing experience in a single page, without requiring you to move to another tab, etc. This is the result of our continued efforts to create the most efficient browsing experience possible.

2) Type-in popIn

"Type-in" popIn makes it possible to use just the keyboard to perform a search that is faster and more efficient than traditional search bar searches. Just like "highlight-and-click" popIn, "type-in" popIn requires just two steps:

1. Bring up the PopIn tool by using the shortcut key. (Win: Control + Space. Mac: Alt + Space)
2. Click the button for the kind of information you want to know about the word you entered in step 1. (Google search, map search, translation, etc.)

"Highlight-and-click" popIn lets you search on any word that exists in the website you are viewing. On the other hand, "type-in" popIn lets you search on any word you like using a simple two-step operation.
