foxdoc is an extension which allows Firefox to browse HTML pages and sites contained into zip files.
This extension allows Firefox to browse HTML pages and sites contained into zip files by creating an associated HTML that points to the compressed archive. Browse documentation without unpack it!
To use it just drop the zip file in the sidebar.
Requirements:
· Firefox: 0.9 – 1.5.0.*
The user interface could be little improved for the search of the main html file, and an integration with the download form.
The support for the RAR format would be really complicated because it would mean to add RAR to the whole Mozilla application. In that case would be easier to integrate a generic virtual filesystem as gnomevfs
