ZINC is an open-source cross-platform hardware accelerated 3D visualization extension.
This extension embeds the CMGUI visualization engine. It includes surface and volume rendering, image processing and scriptable interactive animation and streamed content. Notably included are imagemagick and ITK. To date it has been primarily used for scientific and medical visualisation.
