A rework of Winston Huang's Verizon Minutes Used extension for Firefox, updated to add functionality and to support new Firefox 4 extension requirements. Also changed some configurations to increase user awareness of states, as to prevent confusion from lack of extension-to-user communication.

The Verizon Usage Monitor add-on displays Verizon cell usage in the status bar from your account holder or secondary account "My Verizon" account. Can display the usage for an entire family share plan, or just one cellular line.

You need to have an account to access your "My Verizon" account online. The user name and password are saved using Firefox's password manager. If you already have a "My Verizon" account and have saved your user name and password in Firefox's password manager, the extension will automatically use it to access your account. Created because Winston has not updated his blog, and new versions, bugs, and features have not been address by him since July 2009.
