Text to Image is a Firefox extension that convert text URLs and links to images into thumbnails of the said image.
Text to Image allows the viewing of image links as thumbnails without actually clicking the links. Includes features such as blacklisting, resize on mouse over, and more.
Based on the original extension by Rus Hughes.
Co-developed by Toad King, Starks, and Pike.
Text to Image Options Screen - The options screen can be accessed from the "Tools" menu in Firefox. You can fine tune how much Text to Image resizes the image.
Status bar icon - In the bottom right hand corner of your browser there should be red/green hurricane symbol. Clicking on it will enable/disable Text to Image the next time you refresh the page. The green icon indicates enabled and the red icon indicates disabled.
Resizing - All image links that are turned into images are automatically scaled down to a predetermined width and height. When you move your mouse over the image, it will enlarge the size until you move your mouse off the image. You can change this value in the Text to Image options screen.
Hotkey - You can also enable/disable Text to Image by pressing CTRL + Shift + X.
