Social whale extension is a Firefox extension to create short URLs for use with twitter or any other service with just one click. By clicking to the extension icon, the extension will convert the active's tab url to short url and will copy it to the clipboard. For image uploading right click the icon and select "upload photo". The result url will be again available in the clipboard. Just paste it in your twitter status and you are done.
