Shelve is a Firefox extension that provides a way to quickly save the current document to a predefined folder. The template string for the destination can contain placeholders for the document's host, filename, date, clip, and more.
Users can assign hotkeys to the main shelve dialog or to single templates.
Optionally, each file can be registered in a log file.
When selecting the filename template, users can enable auto-save mode. Subsequently visited pages will then be saved without further interaction to the same location.
Users can save documents as full webpage, html body only, plain text.
This use of placeholders was inspired by the slogger extension.

Although shelve is compatible with ff2, certain things (e.g. access keys in dialogs) don't work properly.
