    Preferences Mover description

Preferences Mover moves the preferences menu to where it belongs on Linux.

Preferences Mover moves the preferences menu to where it belongs on Linux.

You might have noticed that on Linux Firefox and Thunderbird, the Preferences menu is under the Edit menu rather than under Tools.

This extension allows you to move preferences menus on Linux to where they belong on Windows (or vice versa).

This will move all preference- or option-related menu items (and associated menu separators) from the default platform location to the location used on other platforms.

For example, on Linux this will move Edit > Preferences to the Tools menu (and in Thunderbird will move Edit > Account Settings as well). Moved menus are currently not renamed.

This has only been tested in Firefox and Thunderbird 1.5.0.1 on Linux.
