Offers.com is a Firefox extension that will notify you when there are money-saving offers available for the site you're currently browsing. You can click the notification to go directly to the merchant's page on Offers.com and view all the available offers, coupons and promotions!
The extension will download a list of the latest merchants and offers in the background every 3 days. When you browse to a new site, the extension checks the domain against this locally-stored list. No information about your browsing is sent back to Offers.com
