    Mozilla Handle/DOI Protocol Handler description

Mozilla Handle/DOI Protocol Handler is a Firefox extension that allows it to resolve hdl and doi URIs.

Mozilla Handle/DOI Protocol Handler is a Firefox extension that allows it to resolve CNRI Handle (hdl) and Digital Object Identifier (doi) URIs.

It accomplishes this by forwarding requests to one of two proxy servers:

    http://hdl.handle.net/ for hdl: URIs

    http://dx.doi.org/ for doi: URIs

This is the common method of enabling browsers to resolve handles via HTTP.

    Requirements:

    · Firefox 1.5 - 3.0.*

    What's New in This Release:

    · Updated to work with Firefox 3. No changes in functionality.
