LEOs Dictionaries is a Firefox extension that extends the context menu on text selections. It will give you an option to translate selected words or phrases with the help of LEOs Online Dictionaries. Simply select the word(s) or phrases for which you require a translation and right-click on the selection to open the context menu. From there, select the appropriate dictionary.
LEOs Online Dictionaries offers translations for these language pairs:
EnglishGerman
FrenchGerman
SpanishGerman
ItalianGerman
ChineseGerman
RussianGerman
The add-on can be configured to only show those dictionaries that you need. Simply de-select the unwanted dictionaries in the add-on properties.
If only one dictionary is enabled, this dictionary will show up in the context menu. If you have more than one dictionary enabled, a "Translate" Menu will be shown in the context menu which holds all enabled dictionaries.
You can also configure the add-on to open the results either in:
... a new window
... a new background-tab
... a new tab
