Hacker News: Mark All Read is a Firefox extension that implements several functionalities to the Hacker News website.
It allows users to mark news articles as read, hide news articles already read, mark comments of a new article as read, follow comments of news articles, display the number of unread comments on the front page, hide already read comments, collapse long comment threads, and display the parent comment in long comment threads.
Hacker News: Mark All Read is an open source add-on designed to work with Mozilla Firefox 18.0 and later. This add-on does not require a browser restart.

· Hacker News has just been switched to full https, the code related to comments was checking for an address with http only, and therefore, broken.
· The "follow comments" functionality was broken since v 1.31, this has been fixed
