FoxFilter add-on for Firefox is a personal content filter that helps prevent stumbling onto inappropriate content and block access to specific content and Web sites. FoxFilter also includes password-protected security features to secure settings, access Tools/Add-ons and access configuration settings that YOU MUST ENABLE.
Version 5.5 includes a white list feature which allows parents, library/school lab administrators, etc. to designate a specific list of sites that can be accessed. This overrides filtering and has been requested by several users. FoxFilter 5.5 also includes a new password recovery feature!
Version 6 will provide a new feature which will allow preferences to be shared by multiple computers as well as a multi-user feature with individual filtering and sensitivity preferences!
