Many standard things one has to do while browsing are well hidden in the menu structure. Saving an image to disk requires opening the context menu, finding the corresponding save entry, selecting a directory and finally a name.
This is where DragIt helps out. DragIt (formerly Drag de Go) allows you to save text and images to preconfigured folders, search the web, open links in tabs or with extern applications, download and much more with just a mouse gesture.
How does it work?
Just grab an object and drag it up, down, left or right and run the assigned action. Text selections, links, images, addons and extern objects have there own respective set of configurable actions.
DragIt comes with its own configurable context menu which may also be activated by a gesture.
It gives feedback via a configurable tooltip, a configurable mouse trail or the statusbar. So one always knows what action is about to be executed.
