CookieFast is an add-on that continues support for cookie management similar to CSLite, for Firefox, Thunderbird and Sea Monkey, with less than 1/10 the footprint. The toolbar button allows fast access to the core Privacy (Fx) and Web Content (Tb) panels Show Cookies and Show Exceptions. Exceptions and Cookies can be quickly added or removed. Use Customize... to add the toolbar button wherever you like.
- The button shows three cookie states, based on the current active tab's url:
- Red: CookieFast is enabled and a non exception site is blocked or CookieFast is disabled but the site has an explicit block exception.
- Green: site is allowed to set cookies due to an explicit allow exception, CookieFast may be enabled or disabled.
- Grey: CookieFast is disabled, all non block exception sites can set cookies.
For Thunderbird, CookieFast is useful when viewing feed web pages, or web pages in content tabs with WAT (WebApplicationTab).
CookieFast is based on refactored code from the excellent Cookie Whitelist, with Buttons by Alexander Dietrich.
